A Mentorship Opportunity for the Female Engineers of EcoCAR

Women currently represent less than a quarter of the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) workforce. Want to change that? The talented EcoCAR female engineers can help!

The self-proclaimed “Geek Girls” of the Huffington Post have launched a new STEM Mentorship program that connects young female students with scientists and engineers, just like those competing in EcoCAR 2! According to the Huffington Post website:

“Here at The Huffington Post, we believe a more diverse group of scientists in STEM is necessary for our nation to stay competitive, and push the boundaries of innovation. That’s why we want to extend a digital helping hand to the future female leaders of STEM.”

If you or someone you know would make a good mentor for young women interested in STEM fields, click here to sign up! Alternatively, if you’re a student under the age of 21 and interested in seeking mentorship, apply here!
