The CSULA team was extremely active and dynamic, talking to people of all ages in the booth. Marketing representatives of Auto Club Speedway offered the team an amazing opportunity to promote EcoCAR 2 and inform residents of Los Angeles County about the mission of the competition and its significance in the revolution of hybrid vehicles.
The 30,000 to 35,000 individuals who attended the event, brought together by the love of the racing sport, were the perfect audience for the CSULA team to spread the word about their work. A successful day at the track gave CSULA’s team a chance to educate and inform individuals about hybrid car technology.
The day was also a success for three-time IndyCar Champion Scott Dixon, who tasted sweet success after 250 laps on the track. Reputable companies such as Target, Penske and Verizon were also in attendance, participating with the crowd in fun games and innovative activities.
