Diesel Particulate Filters Celebrate 10th Birthday

Our friends at Autoblog Green reported that today is the 10th birthday of Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF). DPFs are designed to remove soot  from the exhaust gas of a diesel engine and were first introduced by Peugeot at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in 1999. An important milestone in the effort to reduce vehicle pollution!

Happy birthday, DPFs!
